Podolak suffered serious injuries when struck by a car while crossing the street near his hotel in Scottsdale. Podolak and his wife, Vicki, attended a social event on Saturday in Scottsdale.
"My father is alert and in good spirits. His injuries are serious but not lethal," says Laura Podolak, one of Ed and Vicki two daughters.
