Coyotes are not the best and still managed to get two points.
Things are going to these events.
Martin Hanzal scored the goal kick late in the second period, Keith Yandle has three assists as the Coyotes beat the Atlanta Thrashers 4-3 on Thursday night for their sixth straight victory.
Phoenix, a win under its longest winning streak this season, leads the Pacific region, with 71 points.
"We found enough to win and do what I had to do for the two points," coach Dave Tippett said. "I would like us to protect the disc better, but the two points is very important."
Coyotes back from a 3-2 deficit. Lauri Korpikoski tied the game with less than 5 minutes in the second and Hanzal scored the decisive goal with 26 seconds remaining in the period.
"The boys returned to the game on the line," said Yandle. "Yes, we have been by one goal, but everybody came together and we managed to get out."
Atlanta fell to 1-5-1 in its last seven games. The Trashes continue declining in the Eastern Conference, and more games in Edmonton and Buffalo before returning home.
