Podolak Injured in Accident

Ed Podolak, a former University of Iowa and Kansas City Chief football standout and current radio analyst for football in Iowa, was injured in this weekend when struck by a vehicle Scottsdale, Arizona

Podolak suffered serious injuries when struck by a car while crossing the street near his hotel in Scottsdale. Podolak and his wife, Vicki, attended a social event on Saturday in Scottsdale.

"My father is alert and in good spirits. His injuries are serious but not lethal," says Laura Podolak, one of Ed and Vicki two daughters.
