Flyers Leave it Late To Beat Predators

Ville Leino scored two goals including the winner late to the NHL Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia Flyers a 3-2 win against the Nashville Predators on Thursday.

The second goal came with 3:16 Leino left in the game. He went to 360 degrees in front of the net to prevent slipping forward Martin Erat Nashville and beat goalkeeper Anders Lindback with a backhand on the glove side high for the winner.

Jeff Carter also scored for the Flyers leading the Eastern Conference.

Marcel Goc and Joel Ward scored for the Predators.

Boston, the hosts won the Dallas game full of fighting.

In the first 4 seconds of the game, there were three separate fights; Stars agitator Steve Ott bloody Boston Gregory Campbell a second after the puck was dropped.

It was followed by Boston forward Shawn Thornton beating Stars Bärchen intersection a second later. And then Adam McQuaid Boston fought Brian Sutherby Dallas 4 seconds in the volume roared its approval.
