Captain Gautam Gambhir struck a century to help India quick to fill a nine wicket victory and trigger series over New Zealand in the third one-day international on Saturday.
The left opening has not hit 126 with 16 fours from 117 balls at Reliance Stadium as India finished on 229-1 in reply to New Zealand 224-9.
India has achieved its goal of more than 10 acquisitions to spare and took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series of five matches.
It was the second consecutive ton and ninth overall in one-day matches to Gambhir, who also scored unbeaten 138 in the second ODI at Jaipur.
Gambhir dominated the early and comfortably hit limits on each side of the barrier to the rapid use of his feet, as India reached the 100-run mark, 15 above.
