Couture, Boyle Score in Sharks’ Win Over Oilers


Logan Couture gets a lot of support for his teammates as the NHL rookie of the year contender. Now, he has also spoken on one of its major competitors in the conclusion.

Couture and Dan Boyle scored 3:28 apart in the second period, leading San Jose Sharks last night the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on Tuesday.

"I did not get to watch others play every night for me, but the others, hands down, it's the best rookie this year," Boyle said of his teammate. "He plays very well and is a two-way player. He does it in both ends. You could say it was our best player this year."
