The second ODI series in Australia-Sri Lanka will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Friday, November 5 Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0 and will look to win their first ever ODI series in Australia.
On the other hand, Australia will look to their captain Ricky Ponting to overcome his string of losses and win the game. Australia have now lost six straight games and will stop the slide or face the prospect of going into the ashes without much confidence.
The batsmen were not able to BAT good in all fifty overs and their bowling has been far too low. For Sri Lanka it was a surprise to see them collapse against Xavier Doherty, but they have now understood to play left-arm spinner.
Lanka can be expected to go after him in the second game. Australia can still be favorites, but the gap has narrowed.
