Portland Pulls Out 88-79 Win Over Boise State

Nemanja Mitrovica scored a career-high 22 points, including two clutch 3-pointers down the stretch, where Portland pulled Boise State 88-79 victory Wednesday night.


Mitrovic has completed 7 of 9 on the field and 5 of 5 from 3-point line. Luke Sikma added 18 points and Jared Stohl had 16 for the Pilots (10-3).

La'Shard Anderson led the Broncos (7-5) with 17 points.

Boise State is close to every game this season, four previous losses for a total of 11 points. This time, the Broncos struggled every time Portland threatened to blow the game open.

The last time came for the pilot opened a lead of 71-59 with 7:24 left. Boise State went on a 13-4 run to close the gap to 75-72 with 3:26 left.

But in Mitrovica said consecutive 3-pointers to ride Portland leads 81-72.
