Mariners Announce 2 Year Deal With C Miguel Olivo

Miguel Olivo and Seattle Mariners have received $ 7,000,000, two-year contract, when the catcher back to the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle on Monday announced an agreement with a club option for 2013. The deal was first agreed at the winter meetings in Florida last month, but was subject to Olivo passes his physical.

Seattle has also agreed to a $ 2,750,000, the two-year contract with shortstop Brendan Ryan, acquired last month in a trade with St. Louis. In a deal that avoids arbitration, Ryan is 1 million U.S. this season and $ 1,750,000 in 2012.
