Adelaide United defender Robert Cornthwaite series of conferences was the last to be groped his luck in Australia, Korea's football championship leader, hoping to fly out of the Chunnam Dragons.
The 25-year-old was released by Adelaide United FC to allow him to join the team of K-League, but his two-year contract with the club has yet to be finalized and submitted to a medical.
"I am a bit 'nervous, but excited at the same time, because every player wants to continue his career abroad and try to do this is a great opportunity to do that," Cornthwaite said.
Cornthwaite is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former teammates Sasa Ognenovski and Iain Fyfe of the Korean club, the path for other Australian defenders in the league.
England-born Cornthwaite played for Adelaide United since the inaugural A-League season began in 2005 and made an appearance for the Socceroos in 2009.
