German sprinter Verena Sailer has pulled out of this Europe this weekend's indoors championships due to a back injury.
Sailer won the 100 meters women during last summer's European Championships in Barcelona and was third in 60 at the European Indoor two years ago.
Germany coach Idriss Gonschinska Sailer lamented the withdrawal, said the sprinter was in contention for a top finish in Paris.
