Rafael Nadal defeated Teymuraz Gabashvili in US Open 

World No. 1 player and top seed at U.S. Open, Rafael Nadal has completed its successful first round and advanced to the second round of U.S. Open. Yesterday, Nadal defeated Russian player, with Teymuraz Gabashvili 7-6 (7-4) 7 -6 (7-4) 6-3 in the first round of the U.S. Open.

Nadal has struggled a bit against Gabashvili Teymuraz Nadal was able to break until the seventh game of the third set. But Nadal was too good in the tie-break and finished the game with two hours and 57 minutes.

In the second round of the U.S. Open, Rafael Nadal will meet Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin player. After the match, Nadal admitted he struggled a lot to defeat Teymuraz Gabashvill and he is pleased with his servant. Rafael Nadal won the French Open and Wimbledon this year.

In the remaining matches, fourth seed Novak Djokovic and David Nalbandian had advanced to the second round. Marcos Baghdatis and Ernest Gulbis has been lost in the first round.
