Roger Federer Come Back to No. 1 in 2012?

Roger Federer, the top player of all-time in tennis history, expects to come back to No. 1 spot in the ATP Rankings, after winning 7th Wimbledon Championship next month at his favorite Centre Court.

Federer, who is going to turn 31 in August, where he has failed to win a grand slam crown from past 9 major tournaments, Swiss star has won his 16th slam at 2010 Australian Open at Rod Laver Arena and eyeing to clinch the 17th Slam here in Wimbledon next month.

Federer is looking ahead to victory Wimbledon Championship, before heading into the Olympic Games in London. 2012 Olympic Games is schedule to begin from 27th July in Wimbledon.

World No. 3 Federer is one of the top most players on grass court in tennis history and clinched 6 Wimbledon Championships at all England Club so far in his career. Swiss tennis champion will have to face difficult opponent World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon semi finals, where he lost French Open semis last month at Roland Garros.

Federer is having more winning percentage on grass courts than his rivals Djokovic and Nadal in All England Club. Swiss star has reached 2012 Wimbledon third round on Wednesday, after beating his second round opponent Italian Fognini in three sets with a 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 score line.
