Dutch Captain is Injury Doubt For WCup Opener

A Dutch official said Captain Peter Borren could miss the team's opening World Cup match against England next week because of an abdominal injury that has sidelined him a game warmup Tuesday.

Deleted, one of the experienced players in the Dutch team, missed a game his team warm up first Saturday against Sri Lanka and leaned back for Tuesday's match against Kenya in Colombo.

Team manager Ed van Nierop said the Netherlands personnel working on fitness Borren for the tournament is open against England in Group B on Tuesday in Nagpur.
